Matemáticas para las geociencias – MAT-GEO –
Nuestro grupo trabaja en aportar una perspectiva innovadora e interdisciplinaria a través del análisis no lineal, la topología algebraica y el modelado de sistemas geofísicos a partir de observaciones directas, indirectas y datos provenientes de modelos numéricos en la región de Sudamérica y el Atlántico Sur.
Desarrollamos técnicas matemáticas y computacionales que permiten mejorar nuestra comprensión de los mecanismos geofísicos y la predictibilidad a nivel regional, en un amplio rango de escalas temporales.
